Dear Friends and Guitarists:
I just picked up a new Fender Amp.
It is the Ultimate Chorus Amp...
...and it rocks! It whomps ass!
If you've heard me playing through my old Peavey only, I suggest you come out to a show soon and hear the difference. It has much more tone and a sweeter control over all the ranges of frequencies (and effects!)
And it fits beautifully with my fender strat. |

I have a Princeton Chorus, and I really like it. The Ultimate Chorus sounded really good at the show at the Thirsty Dog. |

Yesahh! Thank you Zach. I'm glad you like it. The Fender Guys have really got a handle on that in-combo chorusing effect. It sounds really crazy - thick and meaty, but also much more spatial. |

Hey, two shows in, how do you like the new Hot Rod Deville? The tubes sound pretty sweet to me. :-) |

That amp is the wickedest sounding badass thing in the known universe. I think it's that evil glow that the tubes put off - makes it a multi-sensory experience. I'm tellin' you four 10 inchers is the way to go, and even with "only" 60 watts it'll mutilate human flesh if you turn it up past 2 & 1/2. That thing could kick a Marshall's ass. |

I can't believe how hyped I was about the chorus amp. It seems like years ago. The tube amp is certainly a superior genus of amplification. The classic tube amp sound, plenty of gain, and screaming headroom in the volume. Also, a great archive of vintage reverberation is included. All around great amp! I've still got a lot to learn about it, and I'm very glad that we picked it up.
Some things to note:
-the 3-band parametric EQ is unique in that it is ordered in series BEFORE the drive and gain, which makes for a ton of variation in the tones and overtones that can be produced.
-the jewel is color coded with the mood of the amp - or the musician (inside joke.)
-every knob goes to 12.
-as if drive isn't enough, there's a more drive channel.
It really rocks.

Whadduhya mean by "blew up," dude? Were there, like, pyrotechnics, man? With smoke and all? Cool. Or did you, like, insert a straw or something into one of the, uh, orifices, and, like, puff up your cheeks (the ones near the facial labial area, I mean) and like, blow, if you know what I mean? Way cool. Or unless you were playing like real loud or something in a smoke-filled room, maybe you should bitch to Fender, or to Daddy's, and get a new one free. Totally cool. |

The whole thing went up in a ball of flame and smoke, leaving nothing but a skeleton of ash. It was a horrible day, tremors felt throughout the Fender community. SRV was rolling in his grave. |

What's really cool is when I turn my deluxe all the way up to twelve... |

Yeah, I really like the Deluxe. What can I say, I guess I like changing guitar amps, trying new things. This is now my 5th different guitar amp, and I'm seriously thinking about trading it in someday on a new one. I've got one particular one in mind, but I'm keeping it secret until I actually purchase it. |

Jess, what kind of bass amp is it?
And Jon, how high were the flames? |

So I have to get my amp biased, cause it is not a self biasing amp. Kind of a pain, but a necessity if you want it to sound decent. I was thinking about picking up an auto biasing kit, but I'm no electrician, and I don't want to blow anything (including myself) up. I will probably do it though, and video tape the explosion for you all. |

I recently bought a new amp as well as the Les Paul... And I would recommend this amp to anyone out there that's thinking about getting a new one.. It's a Fender Cyber Twin. All digital... I mean, the fucking thing has a USB port in the back or some shit. go to www.fender.com to check it out if you wanna see what it's all about. Anyway, it's fucking nice. |

I bought yet another new amp.
This is the Sunn Model T.
A 100 watt 4X12 monster of an amp.
Crushing volume, searing gain channel. Clean to break up/brown sound clean channel.
Nice for medium to big venues.
Self biasing.
Volume controlled all tube effects loop.
Nice. |
