So, every now and then some person searches the internet for their favorite word or phrase, and gets a phlux.net picture page. For example, if you search for "air guitar pictures", our very own Cody and Jotch are listed on the first page with their classic air guitar rock stylings.
Sometimes people decide to use these pictures on their own message board, website, or ebay auction, without asking permission and without copying it from the phlux.net server. These people are jerks! They don't understand or don't care that someone has to pay for the website traffic, that someone owns the picture and should be asked for permission to use it, etc.
So, a couple days ago I noticed something exactly like that had happened to the air guitar picture. Some guy from australia was selling an "air guitar guide" and he stole the beloved photo of cody and jotch rocking out. Of course, since he didn't copy the picture, I had total control over what picture really appeared on his auction page.
So, I replaced it with a more appropriate message.

The moral of the story is: ask permission to use photos from the Internet. You don't know what might happen if you don't! |
