Alright, alright. I must admit. I do like some Pink Floyd stuff. Wish You Were Here may be at the top of my list, but there are others...

What do you mean you have to admit that bs man without Floyd there wouldn't any progressive style rock.

"The Wall" was one of the first albums I ever owned. I listened to it over and over again, and I loved it when I was a kid. These days the 70s pop psychology of it is a little annoying, but I still like the music.

I really like Roger Waters, so "The Final Cut" is a favorite Pink Floyd album of mine. It's an interesting reminder of how thoroughly nuclear paranoia was part of culture. "Two Suns in the Sunset", indeed.

My favorite Pink Floyd song is Comfortably Numb.

I haven't been exposed to much Floyd, but I really enjoyed Dark Side of the Moon when Josey made me listen to it over and over again. I also like Foo Fighters version of Have a Cigar, but thats probably just cuz Brian May kicks ass.

The Foo Fighters Covered Have A Cigar my god the world has come to an end. I was raised on a steady musical diet of Frank Zappa And Pink Floyd

posted by Cody Phipps on Nov 21, 2003 05:54PM

The best Pink Floyd album is Pulse 1&2 but the best song of all time has to Time!

Songs: 1)Wish You Were Here 2)Us and Them 3)Shine on You Crazy Diamond
Thank you Sid

Great gig in the Sky. Love that song. Echos and Shine on You Crazy Diamond rank right up there too.

Has anyone seen The Dark Side of the Rainbow synchronicity that happens when you synch up Dark Side of the Moon with the movie Wizard of Oz? It's pretty impressive in a cosmic sort of way. For a while they were showing it in movie theaters in Boston, it's that interesting.

Here's a link to how to do it if you want to try this at home.

I grew up listening to pink floyd. My favourite songs would have to be us and them, hey you, goodbye blue sky and echoes.

Song: Any Colour You Like. Album: Animals, hands down. I guess it would be Us and Them/Any Colour You Like, as you cannot have one without the other...but Any Colour really takes me to another place when I hear it.

omg, I love Pink Floyd to death. My favourite songs are "Learning to Fly", "Money" and "Green is the colour", but they are all like.. so great. *squee*
I have most of their albums, and my favourite album is probably Wish you were here, because it has Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Have A Cigar and the title song.. but they are all so great *squee*

My favorite song by Pink Floyd would have to be "Comfortably Numb" because it reminds me of someone in Clarksville and that I feel so comfortable around him.:)
