6gig

I was just looking at MTV.COM and in their downloads section they have 2 6gig songs(mp3s) available to download. It's kinda cool that MTV is recognizing a band that played in Machias... I think there should be a couple Phlux songs on there, though...

yesterday, my parents and i were watching Crazy/Beautiful and there is a 6gig sticker in it. If you watch it, it's toward the end when Carlos and Nicole skip their midterms and is on the door of the car. It's wild...

Interesting. 6gig's label is owned by the hugely influential William Morris Agency, who represent Kirsten Dunst and zillions of other stars. They probably see their movie connections as an easy way to promote their music connections. I see from 6gig.com that "Hit the Ground" is on the Van Wilder soundtrack. Cool.

6Gig's a really good band... And Walter's a really cool guy... I just wish I could get a live version of the song "A Tin Can Experiment"... I love that damn song... AND I'd like to have a live version of the song "Scratch"... Hint.. Hint... Cody....
